Jesus said some things that were difficult to understand: “Go and sell all that you have, and give to the poor.” “If you don’t hate your family, you can’t be my disciple.” “Follow me, and let the dead bury their own dead.” What should we make of these hard to hear phrases from Jesus, and how do the challenges He poses relate to our everyday lives in 2024? The good news is that there is Good News! We can discover God’s grace and power as we learn to really hear Jesus. Come ready to be challenged, inspired, and equipped to follow Jesus in all of life, right where you are.
