All around the House there are spaces, large and small, in which you can relax and unwind.

Octagonal Lounge

Most gatherings are held in the Octagonal Lounge (The Octag).  This delightful, atmospheric room is the main location for teaching sessions, worship and celebration, international entertainment, film nights, quizzes and more!

Chapel

Up in the eaves of the north wing, the Chapel offers an intimate setting for worship, contemplation and small group activities. At the end of each day, the chapel often hosts a short night prayer or reflection with quiet music and Bible readings.

Library

With a breathtaking panoramic view of Lee Bay from the window, the Library is the perfect quiet hiding place. A large selection of Christian books, ranging from those ‘hot off the press’, to classic books of timeless wisdom, are at your finger tips waiting to be discovered.

Picture Gallery and Corridors

The Picture Gallery will help you put names (and nationalities) to the friendly Community faces that call Lee Abbey their home. There are photographs and artwork displayed by past and present Community members and guests.

On other floors, the corridors themselves (shown here) are lovely places in which you can sit, read, relax and chat.

Small Lounge

There is no cosier place than the Small Lounge in the afternoon or evening, sitting by the fire chatting, reading or playing board games.
