When you come and join us on community, we will gather together for 3 meals in the dining room and have two tea and coffee breaks during the day too.
The meals are lovingly prepared and served for you by members of community.
Meals
The menu will be much simpler than it previously was. Community cooks meals that are family style, with the main meal being the same for everyone and main Special Diets catered for.
There will be a cold breakfast served, a packed lunch of sandwiches provided and a cooked main meal in the evening with dessert.
Timings
Occasionally meal times vary, but usually we serve meals at:
- Breakfast: 7.30 – 8.30 am
- Lunch: 1.00 pm
- Dinner: 6.30 pm
Tea and coffee is served mid-morning (11am) and mid-afternoon (4pm). If you’d like to make a cuppa at any other time, there are hot drink-making facilities provided in your room. The vending rooms are currently closed.
Special Diets
Provision will be made for limited Special Diets. We can cater for all Common Diets (Vegetarian, Vegan, Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free) and any Allergies, Intolerances, Medical and Other Essential Diets wherever possible.
Please tell us your needs when you book, so that we can plan accordingly. To cater for you the best we can we will need to be informed in advance and given as many details as possible (e.g. severity…). We may contact you to clarify your Special Diet.
If your diet changes before your arrival, please contact us as soon as possible. On arrival you will be given a name badge and on the back of this will be your Special Diet number or letters (e.g. GF for Gluten Free, VG for Vegan).
