Lee Abbey’s beach is a stunning hidden gem and just a short walk from the House.
You could spend the day playing in the sand at low tide, looking for shells and sea glass, relaxing on a rocky perch or discovering the caves and rock pools. During the summer months, days can end with a pink gold sky and a sparkling red sea as the sun sets below the horizon at Lee Bay.
At Lee Bay you can find over 100 different marine species including seals and porpoises! With A Rocha we have prepared a Top Ten marine species guide (PDF) that you can take to the beach on your phone or tablet, so you can see what you see at the sea!
