Rupert and Sally Martin

Rupert studied Theology at Trinity College from 1989-1990. He enjoyed serving for 26 years as Vicar of Sandal Magna parish in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. He formerly worked at Arnolfini Art Gallery in Bristol and helped to create the Forest of Dean Sculpture Trail. He is a keen photographer and rock climber.

Sally was a dancer with the Royal Ballet and became Rehearsal Director of Rambert Dance Company. She was the Children and Youth Co-ordinator in the Parish of Sandal Magna and enjoyed working creatively with the local Church School and the community on the Portobello Council Estate. Four years ago Rupert and Sally returned to Bristol, where they are serving in their local church. Sally is a Schools Chaplain working in two Primary schools in the parish. Rupert is a Chaplain at Trinity Theological College. They are enjoying spending time with their family and granddaughters.
