Even though Lee Abbey is remote, you can get to us by public transport.
You can either use our taxi service from Taunton (which must be booked in advance), or find your own way via train and bus, perhaps using a Lynton taxi for the last mile and a half.
Our Taunton taxi pickup
On the Monday and Friday arrival dates of all published conferences, Lee Abbey offers a discounted taxi service collecting from Taunton coach and railway stations – at 3.40 and 4.00pm respectively. The taxi returns to Taunton by 11.30am on Friday mornings, and by 4.30pm on Sunday afternoons. This service must be pre-booked and paid for before your arrival date.
RAIL – please wait in the special assistance lounge on Platform 2 for the taxi driver to collect you.
COACH – Please wait by the Castle Way bus shelter (opposite the Cosy Club), a short walk from National Express drop off point.
The taxi cost one way is £28.00 and the price includes either 1 suitcase or 1 holdall per person. If you are bringing extra luggage, a guide dog or a wheelchair, please let the Bookings Team know in advance as this may incur an extra cost.
If you are delayed, you will need to make your own arrangements to get to Lee Abbey. No refund can be made.
