Walk and Talk

18–22 May 2020 (Mon–Fri)

Late May is a marvellous time of year to come and be inspired afresh by the beauties of God’s creation here in North Devon – a breathtaking variety of dramatic coastline, wooded combes, remote moorland, and river valleys, with many wildflowers still catching the eye along the paths. To begin the day there will be half an hour of worship (with a Bible reflection) before breakfast after which we usually offer a choice of three walks.

The long walks will vary between 10-12 miles and leave at 9.45 am. The medium walk (7-9 miles) and the shorter walk (5-6 miles) leave a little later in the morning. You will need good walking footwear, appropriate clothing (including rain gear), a small rucksack, refillable water bottle and sandwich box for your packed lunch. It may be necessary to share lifts on some days to reach the start point.
