WALK AND TALK

6–10 May 2024 (Mon–Fri)

Come and join us to walk in this glorious part of Devon. There are daily walks in a variety of areas ranging from the stunningly dramatic coastline, river valleys and moors of Exmoor. There is the opportunity to begin the day with worship and a biblical reflection, after which we offer a choice of three walks led by Graham & Helen Worsfold and Dave Fisher. The walk options vary in length – long (9-12 miles), medium (6-8 miles) and shorter (4-5 miles). Part of the beauty of the area is due to the hills and rock formations but this does mean most walks have some ascent and descent. You will need to bring good walking footwear, appropriate clothing (including rain gear) and a small rucksack for your packed lunch. It may be necessary to share lifts on some days to reach the start and end point.

Who's speaking?

Dave Fisher

Dave Fisher has been leading walks for many years in both the UK and abroad and has enjoyed several 'Walk and Talk' holidays as a guest. He is an active member of his parish church in Bournemouth.

Graham and Helen Worsfold

Graham and Helen are keen walkers with great experience of leading walks in a variety of settings. They are lay ministers at their local church in West London and members of a local ecumenical community.
