There is much to make us anxious in our troubled world, and we need a robust spirituality to flourish when times are hard. During this retreat, Michael will draw from the wisdom of five people whom he has found to be voices of hope, helping him to journey deeply and honestly with God: Patrick of Ireland, Clare of Assisi, William J Seymour, Phyllis Tickle and Frederick Buechner. Using their stories, together with insights from Scripture, poetry and music, Michael will explore how we can deepen our roots in God, so that we can thrive and adventure in a world of many challenges.
