Treasures New and Old

9–13 February 2026 (Mon–Fri)

Treasures new and old refers to the words of Jesus towards the end of Matthew 13, a chapter full of parables. Having told seven parables of the seeds, weeds, mustard seed, yeast, hidden treasure, pearl and net, he asks the disciples, “Have you understood all these things?”. “Yes,” they replied. So he told them, “Every student of the Scriptures who becomes a disciple in the kingdom of heaven is like someone who brings out new and old treasures from the storeroom.”

Sally & Rupert will be leading us as we look at some key images in the Bible which knit together the old and new in a creative, contemporary context. What treasures does Jesus want to reveal to us as we explore imaginatively together?
