Thirty Problems for Atheists (and a few more…)

17–21 March 2025 (Mon–Fri)

Atheism needs examining, both in what it claims and what it rejects. With their writings in mind, this seminar looks at a series of problems which atheists have had and do have in cosmology, the sciences, meaning of life, thinking, and in their personal outlook It’s interesting that several high profile atheists have changed their minds towards the end of life, and seem open to recognising, at least, that the world has a Creator. We’ll be sharing our own experiences of getting into fruitful conversations.

Who's speaking?

Alan Storkey

Dr Alan Storkey has studied Economics, Sociology and Philosophy for a long time. He has taught undergraduates, supervised postgrads and written quite a few books on Christian perspectives in these areas. This topic has been of interest to him (alongside numerous others!) for many years and he is keen to help Christians to be less intimidated by those who claim with certainty that there is no God
