The Armour of God, Clay workshops, Part 2

22–26 April 2024 (Mon–Fri)

Focusing on Ephesians 6: 13-15, we will consider what it means to put on the helmet of Salvation, the shield of Faith and the Sword of the Spirit, and then we will make them out of air dry clay. There will be some relaxed teaching, some listening to the Lord, some sharing with one another, but mostly creating in clay. This is a relaxed retreat for both the arty and non-arty, men and women alike. All resources will be provided. Come expecting the Lord to refresh, restore and heal as only He can in His everlasting love for us. You will take away 3 pieces of sculpture made by you and you may surprise yourself with your creativity!

Who's speaking?

Janey Petterson

A professional photographer for 35 years, Janey recently fell in love with clay, learning to make pieces which represent and teach the essence of spiritual truths from the Bible. Janey loves to express the heart of our Creator in a myriad of ways - marshalling and grouping shapes through the medium of song, dance, drama, photography and ceramics.
