Summer Silent Retreat: I am the Potter, you are the Clay

6–10 July 2020 (Mon–Fri)

This week we will be looking at our relationship with God from God’s perspective – exploring His motivation and work with us through the image of God as a Master Potter working with clay. Optional and available each day will be times of contemplative prayer, shared prayer and an opportunity to explore the theme using air drying clay.

This retreat will contain extended periods of silence.

“A very enjoyable experience. I will recommend Lee Abbey to others.” — A recent guest

Who's speaking?

Val Turner

Parent, teacher, vicar and college chaplain, Val and her husband Mark now run a small retreat house in Hereford. Val has walked alongside many bereaved families and spends a large portion of her time training head teachers and their staff in how to journey the tragic circumstances that many children and their families find themselves in as a consequence of bereavement.
