RENEW, REFRESH, RESOURCE – sounds of the spirit

17–19 May 2024 (Fri–Sun)

From the sound of God walking in the garden, to Elijah hearing the thin sound of silence on Mt Horeb, to the sound of a mighty rushing wind on the Day of Pentecost and the voice of Jesus like the sound of rushing waters in Revelation, the Bible is full of sounds which amplify our experience of the presence of God through his all-pervasive Spirit. On this Pentecost weekend we will explore the “noises, sounds and sweet airs” which resonate throughout the Bible culminating in the astonishing sound of the Spirit on the day of Pentecost.

Lee Abbey’s ‘Renew, Refresh, Resource’ weekends are designed for everyone, whether Christian or exploring. Come on your own, as a couple, group, team, community or church, to this beautiful house and 280 acre estate on the edge of Exmoor. We invite you to encounter Jesus Christ and be transformed in every area of life. Through worship, teaching, prayer and the simple hospitality of our Community, find the space you need to be renewed, refreshed and resourced.
