Rejoicing In & Reimagining Ministry

15–19 November 2021 (Mon–Fri)

The spiritual ‘landscape’ has changed and our old maps aren’t so reliable. Come and engage with other explorers to find the way of Jesus in our contexts.  Be encouraged by the discoveries of gifted missional reflectors and practitioners.  And join with our resident Community in a rhythm of worship, prayer and hospitality.  Build links and partnerships to resource you as you “press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of you.”

Who's speaking?

Bob And Mary Hopkins

Bob and Mary Hopkins served in a Merseyside UPA for 14 years, worked with YWAM and Dawn Europe and St Thomas Crookes, Sheffield. They founded and run ACPI which exists to “Serve tomorrow’s churches today” by encouraging and assisting the planting of healthy, missionary-minded churches. This includes all sorts of emerging church, alternative worship communities and fresh expressions of church.

Pete & Kath Atkins

Pete and Kath Atkins have lived and worked in Lincolnshire since 1979. Pete was a GP in a rural practice before retiring to devote more time to enabling missional activity across Lincolnshire. They were involved in both Anglican and Methodist churches before planting a church called Threshold, part of the Ground Level Network. In 2001 they developed a church planting strategy called Mission Shaped Ministry, a one year course training leaders for pioneering missional work, which is now offered internationally through Fresh Expressions.
