Who's speaking?

Joel Payne

Joel leads Resound Worship, a collective of songwriters who provide the church with inspiring songs, as well as encouraging grass roots songwriters in local churches. He also teaches theology to undergraduate musicians, and runs marathons in his spare time. He is married to Rhiannon and they have one son, Huck. This week Joel will be taking us on a journey through John's Gospel. In the late first century, John wrote a Gospel with his own church in mind, choosing stories that would encourage and inspire them as they followed Christ. And so we'll explore John's account to discover how these three strands are woven through the story and are key to our gathered (and scattered) worship today.

Lee Abbey Team

The Lee Abbey Team includes experienced pastors and speakers, and offers creative ways to think afresh about what it means to be the church in the world today; they will work with individuals, groups and churches to help maximise your time away.
