Making a World of Difference

24–28 March 2025 (Mon–Fri)

In an age of intractable wars, climate chaos, and biodiversity collapse it’s easy to give in to despair or escapism. Yet, we’re called to seek God’s Kingdom on earth as in heaven. Based on 30 years of experience in urban London and around the world, Dave and Anne Bookless will share biblical wisdom and practical stories inspiring us to make a world of difference. We pray you’ll leave refreshed, with a deeper love for the place God has planted you, and a vision of a future and a hope for God’s world.

Who's speaking?

Dave and Anne Bookless

Anne and Dave Bookless have lived in multiracial Southall for 30+ years. Anne is Rector of St Mary’s Norwood Green and speaks and writes on issues of disability, drawing on her experience of ME. Dave is Head of Theology for A Rocha International (www.arocha.org). Dave and Anne set up A Rocha UK in 2001, and have sought, very imperfectly, to live sustainably, simply and joyfully whilst bringing up four daughters. Dave’s global role with A Rocha International has involved speaking in over 40 countries and his books include Making a World of Difference, God doesn’t do Waste, and Planetwise.
