Life to the Full and Sing Praise!

9–15 August 2025 (Sat–Fri)

Jesus promised us life in abundance, life to the full. Join us as we explore that offer, get re-envisioned together, and commissioned to live out His call on our lives wherever He has placed us. It’ll be encouraging and challenging as we dig into the Scriptures and prepare ourselves for greater effectiveness in our ongoing adventure with him.

As a special feature, Sam and Rachel Chaplin lead us in a week of gloriously uplifting singing workshops every afternoon. Blending jazz, classical and gospel styles, come and lift your voice, raise the roof, and let our praises resound! No experience needed.

Who's speaking?

Sam and Rachel Chaplin

Sam & Rachel Chaplin work as professional musicians – Sam has recently released an album of his music ‘Back into Life’ and performs across the UK with his jazz band, Jazzbomb. For 10 years he has been the musical director for ‘The Choir with No Name’ in London, a choir for people whose lives have been affected by homelessness and leads song-writing workshops in prisons and for people with disabilities. Rachel is an international concert oboist, performing and recording with orchestras and ensembles. She tours regularly with Sir John Eliot Gardiner’s English Baroque Soloists, and also composes her own music. Sam & Rachel are passionate about sharing their love of music and enabling people to find their own voice, bringing freedom and authenticity to their worship. They led a community choir together based out of their home church St Paul’s Hammersmith for four years and are looking forward to bringing their enthusiasm and experience to the community at Lee Abbey.

Simon Guillebaud

Simon Guillebaud spent twenty years living in Burundi, one of the poorest places on earth. He’s got amazing stories to share of God at work amongst witchdoctors, Muslims, prostitutes and more. He survived death threats, ambushes and other close encounters. Founder of Great Lakes Outreach, author of five books, and evangelist, he’s passionate about authentic radical costly discipleship. He and his wife Lizzie were awarded MBEs by the Queen for services to Burundi. He is now based in Bath and preaches and teaches around the world.
