Lent Silent Retreat: Love is His Meaning

9–13 March 2020 (Mon–Fri)

This will be a largely silent preached retreat reflecting on the  great themes of Lent with the help of Julian of Norwich, the Abbé de Tourville, St Thérèse of Lisieux and other great friends of God. The programme will allow time and space for prayer, rest and relaxation in order that the Lord the Spirit may have a foothold to direct and fill our lives for God’s own good purposes in today’s world.

This retreat will contain extended periods of silence.

Who's speaking?

Sister Carol

Sister Carol has been an Anglican religious sister in the community of the Holy Name since 1970, with a varied ministry. During the nineties she was seconded to the Lee Abbey pastoral team for 5 years and then for 4 years explored a solitary life of prayer whilst still living on the estate. She has continued in the solitary way since and is currently living in Somerset.
