Landscape Painting

14–20 July 2025 (Mon–Sun)

Each morning, as we engage in prayer, thought and paint, find an oasis opportunity to worship while we observe and record what we see within the utter beauty of the North Devon landscape. Refocus your perspective on the Sovereign God of Creation who knows what is beyond the horizon. Engage with the foreground of our lives and integrate all into a meaningful composition. Please bring your own preferred art materials. Limited to 20 places.

Who's speaking?

Mark and Val Turner

Parent, teacher, vicar and college chaplain, Val and her artist husband Mark now run a small retreat house in Hereford. Val has walked alongside many bereaved families and spends a large portion of her time training head teachers and their staff in how to journey the tragic circumstances that many children and their families find themselves in as a consequence of bereavement.
