Faith in Four Dimensions

16–20 June 2025 (Mon–Fri)

Jesus commands us to love the Lord with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to love our neighbours as ourselves. This key unlocks so many treasures, about the Kingdom, about leadership, about discipleship, about ourselves, and about daily living.

The talks each day take us beneath the surface of this Great Commandment and engage in the everyday task of faithfulness, fruitfulness, and flourishing as we follow Christ in our daily living.

Who's speaking?

Bishop Mark Tanner

Mark Tanner is currently the Bishop of Chester. He has served across the North of England, on the Wirral, around Yorkshire and in the North East. In former roles he has been a vicar, run a theological college and fulfilled various forms of chaplaincy - including school and army. He has written various books and documents including ‘The Introvert Charismatic’, ‘Faithful? Foolish? Called’, 'How to develop vision in the local church', and the ‘Stones and Firelight’ series. He serves as the Chair of the Church of England’s Ministry Council and is a member of the Archbishops’ Council and the House of Bishops.

Jonathan Tanner

Jonathan is a computer scientist, serving in a lay capacity in his local church and chaplaincy. He brings wisdom both from growing up around the church (Mark is his dad), and engaging in daily work in a University context.
