Programme

Divorce Recovery Workshop

2–4 May 2025 (Fri–Sun)

The workshop consists of six two-hour sessions and is suitable for anyone of any age and at any stage of separation or divorce. Those experiencing the trauma of a relationship breakdown can choose to either ‘go through it’ or ‘grow through it.’ This workshop deals specifically with helping the individual come to terms with a marriage or relationship that has irretrievably broken down. This is accomplished using video material which provides a constructive focus, and small group sessions that offer a safe and secure environment in which to discuss and understand personal feelings. Sessions are: Is This Really Happening To Me?; Coping With Your Ex-Spouse; Assuming New Responsibilities; Forgiveness; Family Matters; Thinking About New Relationships.

Divorce Recovery Workshop

Divorce Recovery Workshop is a small charity run by volunteers of past workshop participants who continue the charity's work to provide support to those experiencing the painful and emotional trauma of divorce. Many of our volunteers have been involved for more than ten years or more, and all have been through a divorce or significant relationship breakdown and have themselves attended the workshops and have experience of facilitating the workshops. For more information about DRW please see their website.
