Christian Hope and the End of the World

18–22 May 2026 (Mon–Fri)

Hope is a major theme across the whole story of Scripture. God repeatedly promises his people that he will visit them to set them free, defeat evil, and restore the world. But what does this hope look like for us, and how does it shape Christian living?

Our vision of this is obscured by all the crazy theories around about the end of the world. So in these sessions we will clear up misunderstandings, answer all the nagging questions—and gain a clearer picture of the hope to which we have been called.

Who's speaking?

Ian Paul

Dr Ian Paul is a church leader, theologian and Bible teacher based in Nottingham. After studying maths and working in industry, he trained for ordination in the Church of England and completed a PhD on the Book of Revelation. He has a ministry of teaching and writing, and produces the widely read blog Psephizo.com.
