Changed from Glory into Glory

3–7 February 2025 (Mon–Fri)

What is God’s purpose for our lives? As we navigate our way through this tumultuous life, what is the end to which we are called? And how are we to prepare for it? Can we be too heavenly minded that we are no earthly use or are we too earthly minded that we have no heavenly hope? What is the place of suffering in our journey and how does God travel alongside us to bring us finally to glory. Reflecting on narratives of Bible characters and in wider literature we will see how we can change from glory into glory

Who's speaking?

David Rowe

David was until recently serving as Dean of Wellington Cathedral and Archdeacon for Church Health and Growth in Aotearoa, NZ. He is a former Warden of the Lee Abbey Community, and together with Pixie, they led the community for seven rich and inspiring years. They have had to return to the UK because of David’s ongoing battle with cancer, which has been both a challenge and a gift. They have four now adult children and 11 grandchildren. They live and serve in rural Nottinghamshire.
