bible Society – discipleship central

17–21 October 2022 (Mon–Fri)

Following Jesus in today’s ever-changing world

What does it mean to be a disciple in our fragmented culture? How can we faithfully follow the teachings of Jesus in our communities, our workplaces and our national conversation? What can we learn from people in different cultures to inform our prayer, challenge our thinking and inspire our actions? Join the Bible Society team as we journey together through selected passages in Romans, hear stories from around the world and stretch ourselves through creative reflection so that we might be transformed to be more like Jesus.

Who's speaking?

Bible Society

The Bible Society exists to offer the Bible to the world, making Scriptures available where there are none and endeavouring to make the Bible available, accessible and credible in our culture. Bible Society was founded in 1804 with a vision to make the Bible available throughout the world. Globally, our particular focus is on China, the Middle East and some of the most challenging regions of Africa. At home, we want to mobilise the Church for domestic mission, grow catalysing leaders and engage people who are spiritually open. Our goal is to see Christians confident in the Scriptures, a changed conversation about the Bible in wider culture, and the transformative embodiment of the Bible in the world.
