Ambassadors for Christ

23–27 March 2026 (Mon–Fri)

As those professing to follow Jesus, each of us Is called to “go and make disciples” – yet how do we go about this in both our everyday lives and in more formal ministry settings?

Whatever our personality, gifting or context, and asking such questions as:
What is a discipleship Gospel? What do disciple-making spaces look like?
– this 5-session workshop is designed to challenge, yet also practically equip us to be the best versions of ourselves as Christ’s Ambassadors in the spheres of influence He has placed us. The sessions will consider:

What is a discipleship Gospel?

Is this how God has always worked?

What are my disciple-making spaces?

How does this work with family, friends, church and community?

What might a disciple-making plan look like for me?

Who's speaking?

Keith Foster

Keith became a Christ-follower at the age of 16, and after leaving school, Keith spent 9 years in the military, where he was involved in both the Falklands and the Gulf conflicts. At the age of 26, Keith then entered industry for 14 years, the last 8 years in various senior management roles. Keith then entered pastoral ministry for 18 years, which included 12 years as the senior minister of an evangelical church in Coventry. Alongside this, from 2012, Keith served at various Bible colleges, initially as a senior lecturer in theology at a Birmingham based college, then in 2021, moving full-time to be the Head of Applied Theology at Waverley Abbey College in Farnham, where he developed their chaplaincy training programme. More recently, Keith became the Principal of Westbrook Academy, the training arm of Urban Saints, where he has developed accredited courses in Urban Mission and Youth Ministry, along with short-course options in Discipleship, Mentoring and Coaching, Schools Ministry and Self-Care. Keith and Lesley have been married for 41 years, have two older married daughters, and two grandchildren.
