Abba-amma: improvisations on the Lord’s Prayer

26–30 April 2021 (Mon–Fri)

The Lord’s Prayer is precious to all Christians as the prayer gifted by Jesus to his followers. How do we bring our own lived experience and histories to this prayer?  We will explore a wide range of poetic and expansive responses to the Lord’s Prayer, including Nicola’s own improvisations. There will be opportunities for creative writing.  May be particularly attractive to budding poets and liturgists, but no previous experience of creative writing is necessary.
