Roy Searle

Roy Searle is a North Yorkshire man who has served predominantly in and is passionate about the North East.  He is one of the founders of the Northumbria Community, an associate tutor/lecturer at several Bible colleges including Spurgeons, and has worked as an advisor to church, charity and secular organisations.  Roy travels extensively throughout Britain and Europe, encouraging people to love God and live generously. He has a wide range of interests, including leadership, missiology, new monasticism, Celtic spirituality – he is one of the contributors to the Celtic Daily Prayer – sailing and tennis.  He is married to Shirley and they have four children and six grandchildren. As a loyal and long-suffering Middlesbrough football supporter he has come to appreciate the notion of purgatory!
