The Very Revd John Irvine MA has been a lawyer and youth worker. After ordination he was much involved in developing the Alpha Course and in 1985, led the first church plant from HTB to St Barnabas, Kensington, which itself planted two further churches. In 2001, John was appointed Dean of Coventry, in 2012 he became Associate Vicar of a lively student church Holy Trinity, Cambridge, and in 2016, John and his wife Andrea moved to the south coast where they enjoy their local church, theatre, travel, walking and reading. Andrea is ordained as a permanent Deacon. They have four grown up children and six grandchildren. They are passionate about sharing Jesus with unbelievers, teaching from the Bible and equipping Christians to live and work in the power of the Holy Spirit.
