Pete and Kath Atkins

Pete and Kath Atkins – have lived in Lincolnshire since 1979. Pete was a GP in a rural practice before retiring to devote more time to enabling missional activity across Lincolnshire and the UK. They were involved in both Anglican and Methodist churches before planting a church called Threshold, part of the Ground Level Network. In the 90’s they developed a church planting strategy for ‘the Humber to the Wash’. They have been part of the Fresh Expressions team and were significant in helping to develop the ‘Mission Shaped Ministry’ course, a one-year course training leaders for pioneering missional work, which is now offered internationally through Fresh Expressions
