Paul Woolley is CEO of the London Institute for Contemporary Christianity (LICC), which helps Christians integrate the gospel with their everyday lives and work. He was previously Deputy Chief Executive at Bible Society and was the founder and director of Theos, the faith and society think tank. In addition to his background in theology, Paul has worked in parliament and in public affairs. He is a regular commentator in broadcast and print media, and has recently featured on the BBC, in Christianity magazine, the Times, and the Sunday Express. Paul is married to Ruth, and they and their four children live in Wiltshire where they enjoy getting into the great outdoors.
Also speaking are
Steve Rouse – Church Team Director
Steve is the Director of the LICC Church Team and a teaching pastor at Balham Baptist Church in South London, with a career in the building trade before that. He speaks, consults and writes on behalf of LICC, and oversees strategic projects to fuel whole-life disciplemaking across the UK. Outside the office, you’ll find him playing squash, riding his motorbike or eating out in an Italian restaurant with his wife Leisa.
Jo Trickey – Church Advocate
Jo was born in Aberdeen but grew up in New Zealand – she’s normally the most Northern and most Southern person in any room! She’s ordained and has got heaps of ministry experience with students and young adults. Now based in Newcastle-upon-Tyne and one of our Church Advocates, she channels this expertise into inspiring churches to get on board with whole-life discipleship, and has a particular passion for supporting women. Outside work, she dons an apron and wellies to get creative and messy with her two young children. Mud, baking, and painting are often on the agenda – but not usually at the same time!
Paul Woolley / LICC Team is not due to speak in the coming programme. But we're sure there'll be someone else you'd like instead!
