“This is my second time here in England. I was here in May 2022 for a month, and it was wonderful. I was enchanted by London, even though I already had a love for this country that only God can explain!

“When I returned to Brazil, I wanted to come back somehow. That’s when a friend of mine spoke very highly of Lee Abbey. I immediately started researching, and I fell in love with its values, the place itself, and the way they seek God’s presence here!

“The reason I wanted to come was to actively take part in an international community that seeks to serve and grow in relationship with God, as well as to improve my English, meet new people and cultures, make friends, and immerse myself and spend more time in this beautiful country!

“Here, the moments of prayer and reflection on the Word make me feel closer to God. In our daily routines, the most important thing is to begin and end the day in prayer, thanking God for the opportunity to be here, surrounded by such a magnificent landscape and living out the Lord’s purpose. Because if we came here, it’s because God allowed it!

“This is a wonderful place to enjoy the beauty our Creator has made, as well as to grow in faith and strengthen our relationship with the Lord, make friends, meet new people. Although it’s sometimes challenging, you end up maturing in every way!”
